Jorgos Efsimiadis/Jannis Termelis
Jorgos and Jannis are considered capacities in things
Pontian music far beyond the borders of Hamburg.
They play on events of the Pontic community all over Germany. Again an again Jorgos succeeds in creating an atmosphere within his Tavern in Hamburg Eimsbuettel , which gives me a feeling of holiday in Greece. Jannis pampers the guests with his Greek delicacies from the kitchen.

The Pontos-GreeksPontos Greeks were the inhabitants of the southern
Black Sea coast (West and East of Trabzon) since around 800 B.c.
In 1923 they had been resettled from Turkey to Northern Greece by a 'population exchange Treaty' (concluded between Greece and Turkey).
The musical instruments used in their music and dances are Pontic Lyra (Kemençe), the bagpipe (Tulum), the cylinder drum (Davul) and a wooden flute (Kaval).
